To lock in your on-call babysitter, start with a non-refundable booking fee that covers the full vetting process—screening experience, checking references, and making sure we only send sitters who meet and exceed our standards into your home—ones we’d trust with our own families. After that, you simply pay your sitter’s standard hourly rate for the time they’re with your family.

All of our nannies and sitters have:
Nationwide Criminal Background Check:
Including Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) driving record check, sexual misconduct registry check, social Security number verification, and residency history check.
Reference Checks:
Minimum of three professional/childcare references verified and contacted directly by our team. Structured interview with detailed, specific questions for each reference. Candidates must receive outstanding feedback across all references to proceed.
Internet & Social Media Screening:
Review of public online presence for: inappropriate language or content, photos suggesting excessive partying or poor judgment, hate speech or discriminatory content, and overall attitude, discretion, and professionalism
Interviews:
We hold at least one phone interview, and at least one in-person interview for each candidate. Only candidates who clear all four stages and pass our qualifications are eligible to join our team.
Sitter/nanny qualifications
foundational requirements:
- At least 18 years or older
- Legally permitted to work in the United States
- No prior criminal convictions
- Meet or exceed the base requirements for a position
experience and skills:
- 3+ years of childcare experience, not including taking care of family
- Infant/Child CPR and First Aid training/certification
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
professionalism and reliability:

- Able to exercise discretion and be trustworthy
- At least three exemplary references from related positions
- Must be able to commit to working with the family for at least 1 year

Same-day bookings are often possible depending on sitter availability, though 24–48 hours notice gives us the best chance to match you with a sitter. Visitors planning a trip should book as early as possible, especially during peak ski season and summer weekends.
Yes, when possible. We know how helpful consistency is! We will do our best to accommodate the same sitter if our schedule allows. There’s no guarantee it will be the same sitter each time but each sitter will be hand selected for your family.
No, our sitters provide care in private homes, vacation rentals and hotels.
