You can find yourself a nanny. We’ll find you the right one—the person your kids will actually connect with, the face they run to at the end of the day, the person who shows up so your household runs smoothly without you having to micromanage.
We built Four O Six Nannies because we’ve been on the other side. We were the nannies juggling multiple families, managing chaos, and fighting for what actually worked when nobody else would. We saw families struggling to find safe, reliable care, and nannies seeking loving, genuine families to pour their expertise into. We knew it didn’t have to be that way, and our goal became to bridge the gap between the two.
Founded by a former nanny and fourth-generation Montanan, Four O Six Nannies was built on a clear understanding of what actually makes a placement work. That’s why we’re selective about who we work with, intentional about the caregivers we place, and deeply involved from the beginning. When you work with us, you don’t get a stack of resumes to sort through or the stress of wondering if you made the right choice. You get carefully vetted names, selected with the judgment that only comes from having done this thousands of times.
Because parenthood is hard enough. Your childcare should feel handled.
From one-time sitters to long-term placements, Four O Six Nannies supports Montana families at every stage. We place full-time nannies, part-time nannies, and house managers and family assistants through our in-depth search and screening process.
For local families who need care on a regular basis, our babysitting subscription offers priority booking and discounted rates. For one-time needs—a date night, a vacation, or a wedding or event—our on-call babysitting service is available to both locals and visitors across Southwest Montana. We also offer in-home pet sitting for Bozeman and Missoula pet owners.
Including Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) driving record check, sexual misconduct registry check, social Security number verification, and residency history check.
Minimum of three professional/childcare references verified and contacted directly by our team. Structured interview with detailed, specific questions for each reference. Candidates must receive outstanding feedback across all references to proceed.
Review of public online presence for: inappropriate language or content, photos suggesting excessive partying or poor judgment, hate speech or discriminatory content, and overall attitude, discretion, and professionalism
We hold at least one phone interview, and at least one in-person interview for each candidate. Only candidates who clear all four stages and pass our qualifications are eligible to join our team.

about
karissa erickson
Karissa is a fourth-generation Montanan and former nanny who spent ten years in other people’s homes before she decided families and nannies deserved better—so she built it herself.
She’s obsessed with helping kids thrive—through movement, good food, and real, hands-on engagement. Along the way, she’s built a team of educators and pros who get it: childhood should be joyful, healthy, and supported, and parents should be able to breathe easy knowing their kids are with someone who actually cares.
A Montana State grad, Karissa is equal-parts problem solver, safety nerd, and “always prepared” kind of person—first aid kit, snacks, backup plan, you name it. But what drives her most isn’t checklists or credentials—it’s protecting the magic of childhood: the wonder, the warmth, the safety every kid deserves.
That’s the part she’ll never compromise, and the part she promises to every family she works with.
Casidee brings thoughtful organization and a real understanding of families to her role as Operations Assistant—because she’s lived it. The youngest of five kids, born and raised in Montana, she knows firsthand what a busy household really looks like: negotiating snack disputes, solving the mystery of missing socks, and keeping everyone moving without losing her mind.
A proud MSU-Billings graduate, Casidee’s spent her career in administrative roles where detail and heart go hand-in-hand. Her background in theatre and film helps her stay calm when things get dramatic—on stage or at home—and think creatively on the fly.
As a mom of three and someone who’s worked in childcare for years, Casidee knows what families actually need. She gets the weight of trust you’re placing in us, and she’s passionate about connecting you with care that feels right—not just on paper, but in your home. Her goal is simple: make the booking process seamless so you can focus on what matters most.
Casidee handles the details, so you can breathe easier, knowing your family is in the best hands.
Originally from the Finger Lakes region of New York, Ava started with Four O Six Nannies as a trusted on-call caregiver while studying at Montana State University. Now stepping into a recruiter role, she brings firsthand experience and a deep understanding of what makes care actually matter.
Ava recently moved back to New York to be closer to family and is continuing her undergrad in Biomedical Engineering at Binghamton University, with plans to become a dermatology PA. She’s always appreciated what compassionate, dependable support can do—and she knows from experience how much it matters to kids and families, especially those navigating medical or developmental challenges.
Having worked in the roles she now recruits for, Ava brings empathy, authenticity, and a sharp eye for matching families with caregivers who feel more like extended family than employees.
She’s proud to be part of a community where kids thrive, families feel seen, and nannies are truly valued.
Karissa and her team went above and beyond and were very professional, caring and understanding of how important it was for us to find the right fit, calming our nerves as first time parents looking for someone to care for our six-month-old. We feel so lucky and grateful for how things worked out with the nanny we were placed with, she’s only been with us for a month now, and it already feels like she’s part of our family and a special person in our little guy’s life. We couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend working with Four O Six for any babysitting/nanny care needs!"
